TraLaLa TV has officially launched in the Czech Republic.

TraLaLa TV, Romania’s first television channel fully dedicated to children and families, continues its international expansion with an official launch in the Czech Republic, now available free of charge via České Radiokomunikace.

The digital success of TraLaLa — Romania’s leading edutainment brand for children, with billions of views and millions of subscribers — led to the launch of the TraLaLa TV channel in 2021. Quickly becoming one of the key players in the children’s television market, TraLaLa TV ranked by the end of 2024 among the top three kids’ channels for the Women 25–45 urban audience.

In 2025, TraLaLa expanded its portfolio with the launch of TraLaLa DSN, a dedicated channel for children aged 4 to 12, offering everything from interactive preschool programming to engaging animated series tailored for pre-teens.

Since December 2024, the preschool TV concept has expanded beyond Romania with the launch of LooLoo Kids TV in the United States, available in English to all DirecTV subscribers, one of the leading television service providers. In July 2025, the company extended its distribution to Spain through Digi Spain, offering LooLoo Kids TV in Spanish.

Today, the next step in its international development is the launch in the Czech Republic via the DVB-T2 platform, where TraLaLa TV becomes freely accessible to Czech families. The channel features a localized programming schedule tailored to children’s daily routines and guided by its well-known slogan: “Childhood Sounds Good.”

Alexandru Badan, Co-Founder of TraLaLa, stated: “TraLaLa was born in Romania and quickly grew into an international television brand because it is built on a solid, universal concept: music and animation as the common language of childhood. We are proud to bring the TraLaLa concept to the Czech Republic, offering parents the assurance of 100% child-appropriate content. Once again, we have proven our ability to preserve the educational and safe essence of our content while adapting programs to the cultural specificities of each country.”

From day one, distribution in the Czech Republic already reaches over 60% of families, with plans to expand across all Pay TV networks. Leading television operators in Slovakia have also expressed interest in carrying TraLaLa TV, as Slovak families already consume a significant amount of content from the Czech market.

Valentin Pintilescu, Director of Development, added: “Whether linear or FAST television, the TV screen remains the best device for family consumption, fostering shared viewing experiences and parent-child interaction. At TraLaLa, we see television as a safer, richer environment that naturally aligns with living room habits, where families spend time together. Where there are families with children, there is TraLaLa!
